What happens when you pit a 1750 point Roman army against a 1750 point Carthaginian army?  Arjun and Rick set out to determine just that:

Opening setup.  Carthaginians are the side with the elephant.

Close-up of Carthaginian general and phalanx.

Arjun, commanding the Carthaginians, deep in thought.  Collins (on right) taking a break from the Malaya game on the other table.

Metal Spanish cavalry charge plastic Romans.  Who will win?

The Carthaginian line sags in the middle, drawing in the Romans, while Carthaginian cavalry on the flanks close in - a classic Cannae maneuver!

For the Romans, the battle is lost!
