Played on 7 Jan 2001 Scenario Objective: This is a classic "hold until relieved" scenario. Based on historical fact, a British Para company must capture and secure a key bridge on the extreme left flank of the D-Day landings.
British Paras land and take Pegasus Bridge by surprise!
Having secured one end of the bridge, Paras rush to take the other end.
German sentries run for cover after firing a few wild shots. Paras rush and occupy the German billets!
Meanwhile, Leutnant Stahler (Bridge Security Detachment Kommandant) returns from his night on the town, unaware that the bridge has been taken! |
