Clash of Nations

Scenario Objective: One Anglo-Allied division and one French division (made up of assorted foreign regiments) race for control of a vital bridge (on the far side side of the village).

Above: British, Portuguese, Brunswickers and King's German Legion troops rush towards the village! But they are at a disadvantage. Not only is the village further away from the British start position - but there is a bloody wooded ridge blocking the most direct route to the village.

French cavalry (top centre) prepare to charge the British right flank. British light cavalry swings into action to protect the flank (bottom left). A Hanoverian General watches the battle unfold from his hilltop position.

Meanwhile, French troops advance towards the village - the bridge is clearly visible.

The battle is joined!
